Sponge - Fitze Engineers, Ltd.
Provides Statistical Process Control (SPC), Six Sigma monitoring/tracking and Control Program Management for every part Fitze makes. Operators measure parts as they are made and Sponge provides immediate feedback as to whether each measurement is within the tolerance specifications defined by the system. Supports gage input from a variety of Mitutoyo gages. Provides automatic SPC graphing of the worst dimension every 30 minutes. Offline Inspection Mode provides data entry and CpK reporting. Tracks production levels at user defined intervals. Provides management, performance and rejection reports. Controls the transfer of all MAZAK and STAR CNC Programs to and from the server and Fitze's 14 MAZAK/STAR Computer Controlled Machining Centers via RS232. Exports reports to PDFs. Written in VB6, Access2000. Runs under Windows 2000. In production since 2002.

Automated Frequency Manager(AFM) -FAA
AFM provides data entry; query; reporting; mapping; modeling for VHF/UHF(Civil and Military Air/Ground Communications), the ILS NAVAIDS for LOC(Localizer)/GS(GlideSlope)/DME (Distance Measuring Equipment)(all used for landing planes), VOR(VHF Omni-directional Radio) and NDBs(Non-Directional Beacons) (for navigation); and all inter-agency data transfers, primarily to NTIA for all FAA Radio Frequency data. The system uses Btrieve Client/Server processing, is written in C, and runs on a Novell 5.1 server with Win9x clients. Fifty users access the system locally (Washington, DC) and from 9 geographically dispersed regions within the USA via FAA's LAN or via modem using Citrix’s Metaframe. System design provides for seamless movement between programs for data entry, modeling, queries and mapping. In production since June 1994.

AFM BackOffice - Federal Aviation Administration
A VB6 online controller allows the users to select from numerous Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Ad-hoc processes that manage the AFM database interface to NTIA. Handles all Export and Import of AFM data between the FAA and NTIA as well as all dataloads from other agencies and governments.

Fitze Intranet Site
We created this internal company website to be a repository for most of FITZE's
public documents. It includes HR items like their Employee handbook and Organization Chart to many of their standard operating
procedures from 'How to use Email', Shipping procedures to all the steps required to make and assemble specific parts that they
produce. This helps eliminate paper and pushes the most current version of all of these documents to each employee's desktop.

Munro Watercolors Website
I created this website to display this Artist's 300+ Watercolors.
It uses PHP and a MySQL database to dynamically create web pages for the 12 categories of paintings.

FAA Agenda System - Federal Aviation Administration
Agenda lets users review radio frequency applications (VHF/UHF, LOC, GS, DME, VOR, NDB, Radar, etc) from other Agencies (Army, Air Force, NASA, Coast Guard, etc) and approve or disapprove them. Provides reporting, an interface to AFM and automated data transfer with NTIA, the ‘clearing-house’ Agency. This is a VB6/Oracle 8i app.

OPTIM RealTime Montior(RTM) - Boeing Helicopter
RTM was used in the static testing of the composite airframe for Boeing's V22 Osprey Tilt-Rotor Aircraft. It allowed users to monitor the status of up to 250 Strain Gages via a RS232 link to an OPTIM 2200 data acquisition system. Alarms could be set for every ENTRY. Users had the option of viewing data in text mode, 20 ENTRIES at a time, or graphically, monitoring up to 12 ENTRIES in as many as 4 quadrants.

The Screen Generator
During the hey-day of DOS I created this package for other software developers to allow them
to easily create screen designs for their program. It was comprised of a Screen Painter module, for creating screens
and storing them in libraries, and a Screen Manager to perform all of the data entry, validation and cursor movements within a screen. The product supported Assembler, Fortran, Cobol, PLM, BASIC, and C for over 20 compilers.

BITNET to 3+Mail Gateway(GW) - National Institutes of Health
Written before email was an everyday word, this system handled the complete mail and file translation between NIH's Mainframe mail system and it's 100+ node 3COM LAN mail system.
It performed translation to and from 3COM's mail format and BSMTP/RFC822.
This was a real-time application that handled mail/file translation and delivery between these two mail systems 24 hours a day.
